Bautzen / Sachsen
The AKW A+V – Projektentwicklungs- und Anlagenbau GmbH Bautzen – also known as PAB Bautzen, is involved in the construction of plants for the ceramics industry, the industry of refractories and the construction of brickyards.

The offer also includes plants for the treatment of raw materials and recycling plants for SiC – sawing slurry.
For the latter we have developed a new market in the photovoltaics industry in the field of mechanical wet treatment plants. These plants separate and transform the ingredient matters silicon carbide and liquid glycol from SiC – sawing suspensions (sawing slurry).

Ceramic plants, of whose planning and construction we have been in charge of, are operating all over the world. In Russia e.g. they take care of the production of bricks and roofing tiles in works at Brjansk, Krasnodar and Tjumen. We accompanied three kaolin works from the exploration of the deposits until handing over of the works.

In China and in Norway, plants for the treatment of SiC sawing slurry erected by PAB are successfully running already in continuous operation. We also were able to successfully complete the erection of porcelain works in various countries.

The headquarters of AKW – Projektentwicklungs- und Anlagenbau GmbH are located in Bautzen, at a distance of about 60 km from the Saxon state capital of Dresden.
The city on the river Spree is part of the Lausitz region. The history of nature and culture of this region is marked by the manufacture of ceramics. Since the political change in Germany in the years of 1989/90, the city of Bautzen increasingly has taking over the role of an economic center of the region. The establishing of important key industries, such as railway technology or conveying plants, the good infrastructure connections and many committed people have allowed this development to take place.
